Accounts Manager

About the role

Oversee and review the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and financial reports of the Property Arm. Provide accounting advice and consultation on accounting treatments, transactions and financial matters. Monitor financial performance, review variances and highlight key financial issues to management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and review the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and financial reports of the Property Arm
• Review management accounts, financial analysis and reporting to ensure accuracy
• Liaise with the Property Arm Finance Manager and operating subsidiaries on financial reporting and accounting matters
• Provide accounting advice and consultation on accounting treatments, transactions and financial matters
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts and financial projections
• Monitor financial performance, review variances and highlight key financial issues to management
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other relevant parties on accounting and financial matters
• Review and monitor internal controls, accounting procedures and compliance with Group policies
• Review intercompany transactions, balances and reconciliations between the Holding Company and subsidiaries
• Monitor banking facilities and provide support on financing and treasury-related matters

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in a holding company, property or group environment
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software; AutoCount experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently
