Accounts Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing accounting, banking, taxation, reconciliation, payroll accounting, fixed assets, financial reporting, and plant-level accounts activities across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA IPCC / CA Intermediate or equivalent qualification.

Experience

8-12years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance with hands-on experience in accounting, banking, taxation, fixed assets, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Roles & Responsibilites

• Manage day-to-day accounting, vendor advances, pending bills, payments, credit/debit notes, and ledger verification.

• Oversee bank and branch accounting, inter-branch fund transfers, bank reconciliations, and banking documentation.

• Handle LC discounting, Bank DP statements, and other bank-related financial workings.

• Manage GST and TDS accounting and compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST-RCM, GSTR-9, reconciliations, and statutory records.

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll accounting and monthly payroll reconciliation.

• Maintain and regularly update the Fixed Asset Register, including asset additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliation with books of accounts.

• Prepare/review monthly and quarterly P&L, Balance Sheet, MIS, and other financial reports.

• Manage vendor, customer, GST, TDS, bank, inter-branch, and other account reconciliations.

• Oversee stock accounting, stock audit, and variance reconciliation, including assigned plant audits.

• Review and complete discount workings, and other assigned financial reconciliations/workings.

• Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, plants, HR, Stores, Operations, and Accounts teams for timely resolution of financial matters.

• Guide Accounts team members on accounting, GST, TDS, reconciliation, and statutory activities.

• Track pending filings, audits, reconciliations, fixed asset records, and discrepancies and escalate critical matters to senior management.
