The Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Accounts Manager to lead our finance operations, manage full set accounts, oversee project costing, and ensure financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full set accounts, daily accounting operations, and monthly financial reporting.
• Monitor project costing, profitability, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Oversee subcontractor payments, supplier accounts, progress claims, and retentions.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax, accounting, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounts team.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA, CPA, MIA qualification is an advantage).
• At least 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Construction / Civil Engineering industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in full set accounts, project costing, and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with IFCA Contract X, Sage UBS, and MS Excel is a strong advantage.
• Work with project teams and travel to project sites when required.
