Accounts Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our ceramic tiles business. The candidate should have around 5 year of relevant experience and a good understanding of basic accounting, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Record sales and purchase transactions accurately.
• Monitor customer outstanding payments and follow up for collections.
• Perform bank, customer, and supplier ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
• Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation.
• Verify purchase bills, expenses, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with sales, purchase, stores, and management teams regarding accounts-related matters.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of basic financial reports.
• Maintain accurate records in accounting software and Excel.
• Support the senior accountant/management with other accounting activities as required.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 year of experience in accounting; experience in tiles, construction materials, trading, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with Tally / Tally Prime or other accounting software is preferred.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of inventory and stock-related accounting.
• Experience handling customer and supplier ledgers.
• Understanding of credit sales and collection follow-ups.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,783.91 - ₹26,095.90 per month
