The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-driven Accounts Officer to join our dynamic finance team. Working with the Financial Controller and our AR Team to complete the receivables process from end to end, including customer invoicing, cash allocation, debtor reconciliations, credit control and reporting, while building strong relationships with customers and our sales and operations teams. No two days are the same, and you will be encouraged to be an active team member.

What You’ll Do

• Generate and issue customer invoices in accordance with contracts and billing schedules
• Reconcile customer payments and allocate receipts accurately to customer accounts
• Reconcile debtor ledgers and customer accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
• Complete the monthly reconciliation of the AR subledger to the General Ledger, resolving any variances
• Monitor unallocated receipts, unapplied credits and customer credit exposures against approved limits
• Prepare the weekly debtor collection action list to support timely collection

What You’ll Bring

Essential

• 3+ years' experience in accounts receivable or finance administration
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with good numerical and reconciliation skills
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills and strong problem solving skills
• Organised and reliable, able to manage multiple deadlines and work autonomously or as part of a collaborative team

Desirable

• Experience using Epicor / Kinetic ERP software

Minimum BYOD System Requirements

• Stable fibre internet connection (minimum 100Mbps upload/download or faster), with a back-up internet connection
• Windows laptop or PC with at least 8GB RAM, i5 CPU, Windows 11, camera, and two monitors
• Noise-cancelling headset with microphone for phone calls and video meetings
• Work location with minimal distractions and background noise
