ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounting transactions and related documents in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Review supporting documents for completeness and accuracy prior to processing
• Assist in billing, receipts, account reconciliation and follow-up of outstanding matters
• Prepare accounting schedules, statements and reports as required
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in SAP Business One
• Support month-end closing, reconciliation and reporting activities
• Maintain proper filing and supporting documentation for management and audit purposes
• Liaise with other departments and external parties on accounting and finance-related matters as required

Minimum Qualifications Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience
• Relevant experience in accounting, finance or a related function
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting systems; SAP Business One is an advantage
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and take on assigned responsibilities
