Accounts Officer

• Lead a small Accounts team, circa $85k, report direct to 2 Directors
• Own AP/AR, payroll, cashflow and EECA compliance & reporting
• Papatoetoe based, leadership and development opportunity

About the role

• Lead, manage and develop a small Accounts team, ensuring quality AP/AR outcomes
• Own cashflow management across all operational and budgetary requirements
• Maintain accurate accounting records across the company's job management and accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly accounting and performance info, support the external accountant with bi-annual and end of year accounts
• Maintain accurate payroll records including leave balances for all staff

Skills and Experience

• Solid, hands-on full AP/AR, payroll and cashflow experience
• Confident with accounting and job management systems; SimPRO, Crystal Payroll or MYOB experience is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Clean driver's licence and willingness to travel within NZ
