Accounts Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations while supporting month-end closing, ERP processes and external audit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the ERP system.
• Process vendor bills, customer invoices, receipts and payments, ensuring complete and accurate accounting records are properly maintained.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unreconciled transactions.
• Support month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, schedules, depreciation, accruals and other closing procedures.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for external auditors and internal reporting purposes.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records, contracts and supporting documents in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience with hands-on experience in daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
• Experience with ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Responsible, organized and detail-oriented with a positive working attitude and the ability to work independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Immediate availability or short notice will be an advantage.
