Accounts Payable Associate

The Accounts Payable Staff is responsible for processing invoices, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers. This role maintains accurate financial records, supports month-end closing activities, and helps ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Receive, review, and verify invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Match invoices with purchase orders, receiving reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Process payments to vendors through checks, bank transfers, or electronic payment systems.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
• Record accounts payable transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.
• Prepare accounts payable reports, aging reports, and payment schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
