Accounts Payable Associate

About the role

KMC Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining complete and organized financial records. You'll work closely with the Accounts Payable Officer and the wider Accounting team to help ensure smooth and efficient AP operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, reimbursements, and petty cash replenishments accurately and on time
• Perform and assist with account and vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Review invoices for proper expense coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure compliance with internal processes
• Monitor outstanding invoices and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution
• Prepare weekly payment lists for assigned entities
• Process rental payments and other high-value disbursements within required timelines
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries related to accounts payable
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting documents
• Scan, encode, file, and securely store finance-related documents

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 1–2 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors
