Accounts Payable Associate

Requirements:

• Graduate of B.S. Accountancy
• With at least 6 months to 1 year experience in Accounts Payable
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Previous experience in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Processing: Manage the complete Accounts Payable process, validating invoices and securing necessary approvals to ensure timely, accurate payments.
• System Management: Record all payables, employee reimbursements, and accruals in QuickBooks Online (QBO) while preparing necessary payment and journal vouchers.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile bank and vendor statements, compute withholding taxes, and maintain an up-to-date AP Aging Report.
• Collaboration & Resolution: Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain strong vendor relationships by addressing payment inquiries promptly.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with PFRS and company policies while maintaining organized, audit-ready files to support financial closings and annual audits.
