Custom Cooling II, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our office team. This position is responsible for processing accounts payable, maintaining accurate financial records, managing vendor information, and providing general accounting support.

This position is part-time and in person. We are located in Lihue, Hawaii. Starting pay rate is $24.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• Three days per week
• Flexible days, preferably Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
• 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Review, enter, and process vendor invoices and payments
• Enter and properly code bills, expenses, credits, and transactions in QuickBooks
• Monitor accounts payable and reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain accurate vendor information, W-9s, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation
• Post and review bank transactions and ensure transactions are properly coded
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures
• Assist with 1099 preparation and accounting documentation
• Maintain accurate records for company liabilities, loans, leases, and company-issued cards
• Follow up on missing receipts and required purchasing documentation
• Maintain organized and confidential financial records
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed
• Assist with developing and improving accounts payable processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Dependable and able to meet deadlines
• Able to appropriately handle confidential company and financial information
