About the Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
• Ensuring payment is received and responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance.
• Handling all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
• Posting and reconciling payments by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Reconciling accounts payable transactions
• Preparing analysis of accounts and produces monthly cash flow reports and forecast.
• Continuing to improve the payment process.
• Preparing all purchase order invoices, investigates, and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
• Assisting with monthly closings.
• Assisting with audit requests
• Performing Accounts Receivable duties as needed.
• Performing other duties as required to support the Accounting Department.

About You

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent level of education is required.
• 3+ years of prior Accounts Payable experience is required with solid knowledge of accounting basics (debits, credits, etc.). Prefer experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Must be detailed oriented with attention to accuracy and exhibit excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Exporting experience, a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
