Accounts payable

I.  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1.     Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2.     At least 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in the food, warehouse.

3.     Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

4.     Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

5.     Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

II. RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITY AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.     Receive, review, and process supplier invoices accurately and on time.

2.     Monitor due dates to ensure timely payment and avoid penalties or service interruptions.

3.     Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payments and account balances.

4.     Verify invoice accuracy, pricing, quantities, and payment terms.

5.      Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

6.     Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing accounts payable reports and reconciliations..

7.     Prepare payment vouchers, checks, bank transfers, and other payment transactions.
