Accounts Payable

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable professional to join our team in East Canton, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our financial transactions, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payments.
• Prepare and process payments in a timely manner, including checks and electronic transfers.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable activities.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
