Accounts Payable

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Receive, verify, and process suppliers' invoices and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), goods received notes (GRN), and other supporting documents
• Ensure all invoices are properly approved and recorded in the accounting system
• Monitor accounts payable balances and ensure payments are made according to the agreed payment terms
• Prepare payment schedules and assist in processing supplier payments
• Reconcile supplier statements with the company's accounts payable records and resolve discrepancies
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments (e.g., Purchasing, Operations, and Finance) regarding invoices, payments, and billing discrepancies
• Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of invoices, payment vouchers, and related documents
• Assist in month-end closing, including accounts payable reconciliation and expense accruals
• Support audit and tax-related requests by providing the necessary documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles
• Familiarity with high-volume transactions and daily purchasing or sales environments is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or UBS)
• Experience with POS systems is an added advantage
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills
• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments
