Oliveto Ristorante e Bar is looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team.

We’re seeking someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a strong eye for detail and can manage invoices and supplier payments efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Experience in accounts payable is preferred, and experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. We’re happy to consider someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare and process supplier payments in line with payment terms.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts payable documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices, payments and account queries.
• Assist with general accounts administration and month-end processes.
• Work closely with the management and finance teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

About You

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Good numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• A reliable, proactive and positive attitude.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities.
• Previous accounts payable or bookkeeping experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Hospitality or restaurant industry experience is a bonus, but not required.

Pay: $57,400.00 – $87,300.00 per year
