Accounts Payable - Entry Level

Homebuilder looking to fill an entry level position in the Accounts Payable Department in Houston, TX 77042.

This is a High-Volume level position.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Enter and post invoice batches into custom homebuilder software in a timely and accurate manner for all vendors and subcontractors assigned.
• Establish and maintain open communication with vendors and subcontractors, as well as external customers.
• Provide timely customer service for all calls, emails, and questions from vendors and external customers.
• Reconcile monthly statements of all vendors and subcontractors.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties including copying, filing, and scanning.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office suite.
• 10-Key Accuracy and Speed.
• Good Communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Abillity to work well as part of a team environment.

Compensation: $42,500 - $45,000 per year.
