Accounts Payable Coordinator

Position Overview:

Responsible for timely and accurate coding of non-patient related invoices. Applies contract, procedures and guidelines for handling specific invoice types.

Work setup: Onsite @ San Juan City, Metro Manila

Schedule: Night shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Processes vendor invoice and check requests.
• Maintains and track CAR forms and POs as necessary.
• Ensures vendor invoice agrees with contract terms.
• Codes invoice with general ledger account.
• Maintains an acceptable level of production as established by management.
• Assists other units within the department as needed and requested by management.

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years prior experience in healthcare or a/p environment preferred
• Completion of basic high school equivalency required. Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field is preferred.
• Prior knowledge of accounts payable processes
• Able to work independently
• Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously
• Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with department heads, managers, coworkers and vendors to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
• Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within an automated systems as well as a variety of software packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
