About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to manage our domestic and international vendor payments and employee reimbursements. You will help strengthen our payables controls, support the month-end close, and look for ways to automate routine finance work.

What You'll Own

• Payables processing

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and employee reimbursements.

• Process cross-border vendor payments in foreign currency, verifying invoices & filing of form 15CA/145.

• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and approvals before payment.

• Compliance

• Apply GST and TDS rules correctly, including input tax credit checks, TDS deduction, Reverse charge mechanism.

• MSME compliances, preparation of GST / TDS returns & timely deposit of taxes.

• Maintain documentation required for statutory compliance.

• Controls and vendor management

• Strengthen accounts payable controls and improve financial accuracy.

• Maintain vendor master data and build good relationships with vendors.

• Flag duplicate payments, errors, and process gaps early.

• Financial close, FP&A, and audit

• Support month-end financial close, including accruals, provisions, and prepaid schedules.

• Provide data and analysis for FP&A activities.

• Support statutory and internal audits with timely documentation and queries.

• Process improvement

• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring tasks, using tools such as Excel macros, ERP workflows, and OCR or invoice-automation tools.

• Drive operational efficiency across the AP cycle.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable.
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent; CA Inter or semi-qualified is a plus.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS rules and their practical application, including cross-border payment compliance (Form 15CA/15CB).
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and an accounting package or ERP (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books).
• Good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
