Accounts Payable Executive

Overview:
Join our finance team as an Accounts Executive! Manage AP transactions, supplier payments and reconciliations in a dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including maintaining supplier records, processing invoices and ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Handle AP transactions relating to intercompany billings, fixed assets and prepayments, ensuring proper documentation and accurate accounting entries.
• Perform monthly AP sub-ledger reconciliations against the general ledger, prepare AP ageing reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process twice-monthly payment runs, including ad hoc payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
• Assist with monthly closing activities, including revenue accruals when required, and support other accounting duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably specialising in Accounts Payable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with working knowledge of Sage accounting software.
• Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate financial records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
