Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, and payment processing using financial software such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
• Supervise a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment.
• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards in all accounts payable activities.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly through effective communication and investigation.
• Oversee the automation of accounts payable workflows to streamline operations using tools like Bill.com or Coupa.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information and adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and human resources teams to support audit requirements and financial reporting needs.

Skills

• Extensive experience with accounting software such as Workday, Paychex, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, ADP, Kronos or Ceridian.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, general ledger accounting, and journal entries.
• Proficiency in Excel data analysis using formulas like VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables for detailed account reconciliation and reporting.
• Knowledge of accounts payable automation tools and invoice processing best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Familiarity with payroll management systems like ADP or Kronos is a plus for integrated financial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while ensuring compliance with financial regulations such as SOX and GAAP.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for account reconciliation and error resolution in high-volume environments.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced setting.
