Accounts Payable Officer

Accounts Payable Officer Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site - Wollongong

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a leading organisation based in Wollongong. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, collaborative finance team in a permanent, full-time role.

About the Role As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will:

• Process domestic and foreign currency invoices in line with company policies.
• Allocate invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Maintain and update vendor information in the ERP system.
• Match purchase orders and invoices, investigating discrepancies.
• Prepare month-end accruals and reconcile creditor statements.
• Handle employee expense claims and support internal/external audits.
• Provide Treasury Back Office support, including FX deal checks and settlement payments.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and high-volume processing.
• Strong numeracy and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
• High School Certificate or equivalent; TAFE or similar accounting qualification preferred.
