Accounts Payable Officer

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy Accounts Payable Department. This role will involve the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions, ensuring that payments and disbursements are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner.

This position is located at our Manila office in Mandaluyong City.

Duties in this Role Include

• Receiving and verifying tax invoices for goods and services in your portfolio, ensuring transactions comply with company financial policies and procedures
• Securing approval as required and preparing invoices for data entry
• Data entry of invoices, ensuring they are costed to the correct financial dimensions
• Maintaining vendor information, including credit applications and statement reconciliation
• End of Month (EOM): clearing all invoices to ensure deadlines and clearance goals are met
• Meeting all agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Performing other ad hoc duties, such as credit card reconciliations and staff expense claims

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ recent experience within an accounts payable role (however, we will consider those with more or less experience)
• A self-motivated approach with a “can-do, team-player” attitude and adaptability to change as our business evolves
• Accurate and timely data entry skills within a high-volume environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize your workload and adjust for problems and roadblocks
• The ability to identify needed improvements and collaborate to implement solutions
• Experience using Microsoft AX & Concur is highly desirable but not essential
• Beginner to intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
