Accounts Payable Officer

We are seeking two dedicated Accounts Payable Officers to join our Finance department at Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. 
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will oversee all aspects of accounts payable functions, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Organize and code daily invoices, entering them into accounts payable sub-ledgers on a timely manner.
• Maintain an accounts payable filing system by sorting, matching, and filing all invoices and checks.
• Assist with disbursements and ensure that necessary approvals for payments are obtained.
• Process new vendor credit applications and oversee the vendor filing system.
• Photocopy invoices for off-site approval and ensure all required approvals are in place before submitting them to the AP Supervisor, as well as processing expense reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English,
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 5 days of work followed by 2 days break.
