We are currently looking for Accounts Payable Officer to join our team.

What You'll Do

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will:

• Supervise daily Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, posting, validation, and payment activities for project costs, overhead, PO, and non-PO transactions.
• Review transactions for proper account classification, VAT and withholding tax treatment, cost center assignment, and compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
• Oversee vendor master data management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established controls.
• Manage month-end and year-end AP closing activities, including vendor reconciliations, cut-off compliance, and resolution of outstanding balances.
• Prepare, review, and analyze AP reports, including aging, payment monitoring, advances, retention, contractors' payables, and other key AP metrics.
• Validate invoices and supporting documents for compliance with EOPT requirements and company policies, and resolve AP exceptions such as parked invoices, exceeded POs, and GR/IR clearing issues.
• Monitor AP processing accuracy, productivity, and payment controls while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and suppliers, to resolve billing and payment discrepancies, support audits, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts.

What You'll Bring

To thrive in this role, you'll bring the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications are an advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting, with supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, accounting controls, invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment operations.
• Working knowledge of Philippine tax requirements, particularly withholding taxes, VAT, invoicing/receipting requirements, and the Ease of Paying Taxes (EOPT) Act.
• Hands-on experience with ERP or computerized accounting systems; SAP/SAP S/4HANA experience is highly preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
