Accounts Payable Officer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment vouchers, ensuring all the payments are processed accurately and within established timelines and policies
• Verify vendor information (e.g. account name, account number, swift code), maintain vendor documentation, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of vendor master data
• Coordinate the registration and update the vendor records in the banking system
• Prepare information in payment templates for banking platforms, coordinate with bank and make any adjustment in template as required
• Coordinate with financial institutions and internal stakeholders regarding payment-related matters
• Monitor payment status and resolve transaction discrepancies when necessary
• Maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Banking Operations, or related functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Good time management skills with the ability to work under deadlines, strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and online banking platforms is preferred
