Accounts Payable Officer

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused accounts professional with extensive Xero experience who can hit the ground running.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of accounts payable, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately, efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing and reconciling supplier invoices and statements
• Managing high-volume accounts payable transactions
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Preparing and processing supplier payments
• Maintaining accurate supplier records
• Responding to supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end accounts payable processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records within Xero
• Supporting the wider finance team with general accounting duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has extensive hands-on experience using Xero
• Has proven experience in an accounts payable role
• Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Has strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Communicates confidently with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Can work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Is reliable, professional and takes ownership of their work
• Is available for an immediate start
