Accounts Payable Oficer

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process supplier payments in accordance with payment terms.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Respond to supplier enquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate outstanding balances.
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial close processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance administration role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• A professional approach to handling confidential financial information.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate or qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or Business Administration is desirable.
• Previous experience using accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Experience with supplier reconciliations and invoice processing will be highly regarded.
