Duties

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests using various financial software such as Workday, SAP, or QuickBooks.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and ensure all transactions adhere to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance standards.
• Manage accounts payable automation tools like Paychex, Kronos, or UltiPro to streamline workflows and reduce manual data entry.
• Conduct thorough review of invoice data, utilizing Excel formulas and VLOOKUP functions for data analysis and validation.
• Prepare and record journal entries related to accounts payable activities, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information while handling large volumes of invoice processing and account reconciliation tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Sage, or Ceridian; experience with Workday or ADP is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—for data analysis, spreadsheet management, and creating reports.
• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements and internal controls within finance operations.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills for account reconciliation and invoice validation.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $25.64 - $30.87 per hour
