Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

· Verify vendor payments and employee reimbursements per company policy, Delegation of Financial Authority, and statutory laws.

· Ensure payment accuracy checking invoices, agreements, delivery challans, approvals, and tax filer status.

· Process APs with updated FBR/provincial tax rates; maintain tax schedules and Oracle rate updates.

· Execute month-end AP closing and coordinate with departments for timely data recording.

· Support internal and external auditors during regarding payments, accrued expenses and other queries.

· Reconcile payments for conventions and other activities and to resolve cross-departmental issues.

· Supervise AP bookers, ensure timely Oracle uploads, and clear backlog.

· Monitor BI Dashboards; prepare branch-wise analytical reports for performance tracking.

· Handle system migration projects, resolve payment discrepancies, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Part-qualified ACCA, ACMA, MBA/BBA, or bachelor’s in finance/accounting.

· 3–4 years of relevant experience of Accounts Payable. Preferably from Insurance industry.

· Hands-on Oracle ERP and Power BI reporting skills.

· Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

· High attention to detail and solid knowledge of financial policies.
