Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: AP Specialist II

Location: Orlando, FL — Onsite 5 days a week

Pay: $23–$26/hour

Role: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking an AP Specialist II to join a growing healthcare organization. This position will support a high-volume Accounts Payable function and is ideal for someone with strong invoice processing, purchase order, reconciliation, and Excel experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review a high volume of vendor invoices and purchase orders.
• Perform 3-way matching between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Review invoice coding and ensure transactions are accurately entered into the accounting system.
• Process payments through checks, ACH, credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and assist with maintaining accurate AP records.
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and vendor discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and work with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Assist with month-end close activities and AP reporting.
• Support audits, internal controls, and other accounting projects as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized AP documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
• Strong purchase order and invoice matching experience
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Healthcare industry experience is a strong plus
• Must be available to support month-end close, particularly during the first and last weeks of the month
