- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable.
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong understanding of invoice coding, approvals, payment processing, and vendor management.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing AP for 20+ entities.
- Healthcare, medical practice, or physician-group accounting experience.
- Real estate/property management AP experience.
- Experience with property-related invoices, tenant improvements, utilities, repairs, maintenance, and construction expenses.
- Experience with intercompany transactions and charges.
- Experience supporting month-end close.
- Experience preparing AP-related schedules and workpapers for CPA/tax preparation.
- Experience identifying duplicate invoices, unusual charges, incorrect coding, and potential payment errors.
- Experience with automated AP/payment systems is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a seasoned, highly organized AP professional who can take ownership of the entire AP process across 47+ companies with minimal supervision. This person should be comfortable handling a high volume of invoices, determining the correct entity, account, class, and location, resolving issues directly with vendors and internal departments, and ensuring AP is accurately recorded before month-end close. This is not an entry-level AP position. The candidate should be able to independently manage their assigned entities and identify and resolve problems rather than simply entering invoices.
