What you’ll be doing

• Managing the full-cycle accounts payable process
• Performing three-way matching and entering approved invoices into SAP
• Processing weekly vendor payments by check, ACH and credit card
• Keeping vendor records, W-9s and compliance documents accurate and up to date
• Reconciling bank accounts, AP aging, prepaids, petty cash and credit card transactions
• Helping with month-end close
• Preparing and issuing annual 1099s
• Answering vendor questions and resolving payment issues
• Providing general accounting and administrative support
• Occasionally coordinating employee travel and covering the front desk

What you bring

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• An associate degree in Accounting, Business or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience
• A strong understanding of AP, invoicing, the general ledger, the chart of accounts and basic financial statements
• Experience with SAP or another ERP or accounting system (preferred)
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• The ability to juggle priorities and hit deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Professionalism and dependability, with comfort handling confidential financial information
• A customer-service mindset and a team-first attitude
