Accounts Payable Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and verify invoices, billing statements, and supporting documents.
• Ensure invoices are properly approved and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and within established deadlines.
• Prepare payment requests, vouchers, and other documents required for payment processing.
• Monitor due dates and ensure timely settlement of supplier and vendor obligations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies or outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and AP-related documents.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and other departments regarding billing and payment concerns.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payment schedules.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of AP reports.
• Monitor and maintain the AP aging schedule.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial documents for audit purposes.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting systems/software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines.
