Accounts Payable Staff

Main aim of Job:

• On time payment of liabilities as they fall due / Elimination of overdue accounts.
• Reconciliation of GRIR accounts.
• Ensures that purchases have been properly authorized.
• Ensures accuracy of the invoice by matching the PO with received documentation and invoice itself making sure that mismatches are reviewed immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Prepare and monitor AP Aging and Ex-works Supplier Monitoring.
• Works with AP reporting, Procurement, Warehouse, or Requestors in resolving issues with invoices.
• Ensures that proper approval routing is maintained in accordance with company policy.
• Petty cash custodian.
• Assist in month-end closing requirements.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor Science and Accountancy, Management Accounting.

• At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in a PEZA Manufacturing environment - SAP A/P module.

• Required skills familiar with Philippine withholding tax, VAT, EVAT, DST, FWT and FBT (a must)

• End to end knowledge of the procure- to-pay cycle.

• Understanding of financial reporting impact of AP transactions.

• Knowledge of expense classification and accurate GL coding.

• With experience SAP ERP System.

• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Professional communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Takes full responsibility for assigned AP process and deliverables.

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance in daily operation

• Consistently meet KPI’s.

• Support other department knowledge in continuity within AP.
