Hiring: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Reports to: Accounting Manager and VP of Finance

Location: Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna (Head Office)

Citicon is looking for an experienced AP Supervisor to lead a five-person AP team supporting four ready mix concrete batching plants. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires accurate and timely payment processing, and strong expense control and discrepancy resolution, in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and monitor the performance of a five-person AP team; assign workload, review output, and recommend practical improvements to AP processes and reporting.
• Review vouchers, invoices and payment documents covering cement, aggregates, admixtures, fuel, truck and equipment parts, utilities, and operating expenses.
• Enforce three-way matching of purchase orders, delivery receipts, and supplier invoices.
• Audit and enforce internal controls on expenses and reimbursements across departments.
• Coordinate with Procurement regarding pricing, returns, credit, and supplier concerns.
• Manage vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. CPA is an advantage, but not required.

• 10+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong working knowledge of three-way matching, invoice validation, payment processing, expense controls, and supplier reconciliation.

• Familiarity with material delivery receipts and multi-location payables.

• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in ready mix concrete, construction, aggregates, or other inventory- and supplier-intensive industries is an advantage.

• Willing and able to work onsite in Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna.
