Accounts Payable Supervisor

Job Descriptions

• Review and supervise accounting payable staffs to ensure that invoices from 3rd party vendors, from intercompany are posted properly and on time, including staff reimbursement (petty cash & staff expense).
• Monitor and communicate with Shared Service Center team in Malaysia to ensure that transaction is posted accurately and on time according to the SLA.
• Ensure that related internal control is implement for each process according to the company policy.
• Monitoring of expense and prepare required journal voucher to ensure that financial information is accurate.
• Review input VAT report and withholding tax certificate and others tax compliance matter.
• Correspond with vendors for any inquiry, including payment date.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, perform balance sheet reconciliations for AP sub-ledgers, and prepare documentation for internal and external statutory audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relate field
• 3 - 5 years of corporate accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a direct supervisory role handling AP and tax operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, Strong problem-solving skills
• Good MS Office skills (Excel)
• SAP Expertise: Proficiency in SAP ERP is a distinct advantage.
