Accounts Payable Supervisor

Makati Supermarket Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee accounts payable activities and help ensure accurate, timely, and efficient accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounts payable transactions and ensure accurate recording of financial entries
• Monitor account reconciliation and the preparation of accounting reports
• Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of financial records
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting
• Monitor compliance with applicable tax regulations and VAT requirements
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding accounting concerns
• Guide and support accounting personnel to maintain efficient workflows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and manual financial entries
• Familiarity with SAP Business One
• Knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and account reconciliation
• Familiarity with tax compliance, and VAT-related transactions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective communication skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San Juan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
