Accounts Payable Team Leader

Are you ready to lead an Accounts Payable team and drive financial accuracy and operational excellence?

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to manage and coach a team of Accounts Clerks, ensuring transactions are accurate, complete and processed in line with company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach and manage the Accounts Payable team.
• Oversee creditors reconciliations, payments and ledger controls.
• Monitor accruals, purchase orders and payment processes.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts and identify potential risks.
• Manage creditor queries and provide support on AP-related matters.
• Assist with audits, forex requirements and banking processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.

What you’ll need:

• Matric.
• 3–5 years’ Accounts Payable and Cashbook experience
• 3–5 years’ Online Banking experience (advantageous)
• Completed BCom Accounting degree
• Advanced computer literacy
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High level of confidentiality and integrity
