Position Description: Accounting Support: Billing & Collections (2 Openings)

Macon, GA

Pay: $20 per hour

CertiTemp is looking for two detail-oriented team members to support an accounting department: one for billing and one for collections.

Accounting Clerk, Billing

Prepare and send accurate customer invoices on schedule

Review billing data and resolve discrepancies

Reconcile accounts and match payments to invoices

Accounting Clerk, Collections

Call and email customers to follow up on past due balances

Research account history and resolve payment disputes

Reconcile accounts, apply payments, and document all contacts

What You Bring (Both Roles)

Strong computer skills, including Excel and accounting software

Research and problem-solving skills

Account reconciliation experience

Attention to detail and clear, professional communication

Collections Role: You must be comfortable asking for payment and following up persistently but courteously.
