📢 Hiring: Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist | South Austin, TX

I’m partnering with a well-known consumer products company in South Austin that is looking to add an experienced Cash Applications Specialist to its Accounting & Finance team!

This is a contract opportunity with the potential to convert to permanent . The team has a strong history of converting contractors and offers a collaborative, laid-back environment with plenty of cross-training.

📍 Location: South Austin, TX

🏢 Schedule: Monday through Thursday onsite, Friday remote, plus one remote half-day Saturday per month

💰 Pay: $26/hour + overtime eligibility

📋 Type: Contract with potential for permanent conversion

What you'll be doing:

• Apply incoming ACH, wire, and check payments
• Process remittances, credit memos, returns, rebates, and discounts
• Research payment discrepancies and assist with account reconciliations
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, and payment tracking reports
• Work within SAP and collaborate with the broader AR team
• Cross-train across multiple accounting functions

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications experience
• Strong Excel skills, particularly pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• SAP experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
• Stable work history and a team-oriented personality
• No degree required with relevant experience!
