Your Role & Responsibilities

As our Account Executive (AR), you will be an integral part of our Finance team, ensuring the smooth and accurate management of accounts receivable and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing Accounts Receivable functions in accordance with company policies and financial guidelines.
• Performing general office administrative tasks including filing, data entry, handling calls, and processing mail.
• Building and maintaining professional communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Proactively monitoring and following up on overdue customer payments to ensure effective credit control management.
• Liaising with external stakeholders including Auditors, Tax Agents, and Bankers.
• Preparing year-end closing management accounts to support a smooth and accurate annual audit process.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual who takes ownership of their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, with preference given to candidates from a manufacturing background.
• Proficiency in SQL Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong command of Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively engage with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

*** Mandarin-speaking candidates are strongly preferred — This role requires direct liaison with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers, making Mandarin proficiency a significant advantage and a key communication requirement for this position.
