Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Company’s accounts receivable cycle through design, implementation, maintenance and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the Accounts Receivable collection process.

• Controls all activities in the accounts receivable function.
• Proper recording and application of cash, management of outstanding invoices, and direct interfacing with customers on collection matters and dispute resolution.
• Overseeing customer billing and cash receipts processing.
• Manages collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts and referring accounts to collection agencies.
• Ensure accurate receivable records and verify outstanding account balances.
• Creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts.
• Audits methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency.
• Performs periodic reconciliations.
• Support Management by providing timely and accurate payment and accounting information.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience; restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, collections, cash applications, and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with month-end close, aging reports, and resolving account discrepancies.
• Accounting, Finance, or Business degree preferred
