Accounts Receivable Officer (Refunds)

About the Company

Our client is a well-established organisation supporting large-scale operations through a finance shared services environment. With a strong focus on operational efficiency, service quality, and financial governance, the organisation provides essential finance support across a broad range of functions and stakeholders.

In line with the organisation’s operational needs, the organisation is looking for an Accounts Receivable Executive to support its AR and finance operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Refund Processing: Process and manage customer refund requests accurately, ensuring timely validation and disbursement.
• Reconciliations & Accounting: Perform bank reconciliations and prepare relevant accounting entries to ensure accurate financial records.
• Month-End Closing: Support reconciliation and month-end closing activities for assigned General Ledger accounts.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with customers and internal teams to investigate and resolve refund-related queries and issues.
• Finance Operations: Support day-to-day finance activities and undertake ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

• Certification, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, refunds, reconciliation, or finance operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Meticulous and responsible, with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, handle large volumes and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
