The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AR subledgers, ERP uploads, advanced Excel functions and ability to handle large amounts of data transactions. You will ensure accurate billing, timely collections, proper cash application, and detailed reporting while collaborating with internal teams and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all billing aligns with contracts, agreements and purchase orders while maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Apply and reconcile customer payments, ensuring the AR subledger is accurate and fully aligned with the general ledger.
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and proactively manage collections to reduce outstanding balances.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes and unapplied payments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and reconcile the AR subledger, perform ERP uploads for fleet and other invoices, credit memos, payments, adjustments and support month-end close activities.
  • Prepare AR aging reports, cash forecasts and key metrics, while analyzing payment trends and identifying potential credit risks.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and customers to resolve billing issues, support onboarding and act as the main contact for AR-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards and audit requirements while maintaining thorough documentation of processes and communications.
  • Use advanced Excel tools to perform data analysis, reconciliations, data validation and develop dashboards or process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Full knowledge of AR subledgers, invoicing, collections, and cash application.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for reporting, reconciliations and data analysis.
  • Experience with SAGE 300 or another similar software with batch processing and familiarity with upload processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Required Skills

  • High attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proactive, independent and self-motivated.
  • Full understanding of end-to-end AR cycle and subledger management.
  • Ability to resolve issues efficiently and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
