Internship Opportunity: Accounts Intern

Duration: 3 Months

Stipend: Paid

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Working Days: Monday–Saturday

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Intern to join our Accounts team for a 3-month internship. This is a great opportunity for a recent postgraduate to gain hands-on, practical exposure to core accounting functions, statutory compliance, and day-to-day financial operations in a real business environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: M.Com / MBA

Knowledge Required:

• Basic working knowledge of Tally (ERP/Prime)
• Fundamental understanding of GST (Goods and Services Tax) concepts and filing process
• Basic knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) provisions and compliance
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry using Tally
• Support in preparation and filing of GST returns
• Assist with TDS calculations, deductions, and return filing support
• Help in maintaining ledgers, vouchers, and reconciliation of accounts
• Assist with invoice processing and vendor payment tracking
• Support the accounts team in month-end and audit-related documentation
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in report preparation
