About the role

The Accountant will oversee accounting in Indonesia. The role is responsible for reporting, payroll support, and tax compliance. The position ensures compliance with local regulations and supports smooth business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and transaction documentation.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.
• Manage petty cash and perform regular reconciliations.
• Prepare and support tax reporting in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external parties, including auditors and tax authorities, on accounting and tax-related matters.
• Ensure adherence to Indonesian tax laws (e.g., PPh 21, VAT) and labor regulations.
• Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies (e.g., tax office, BPJS).
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting (entry-level to mid-level role).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Zahir, or SAP).
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and reporting standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (preferred for multinational companies).
• Familiarity with BPJS systems and general office management.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented with high integrity and a strong work ethic.
