Exciting Opportunity: Casual Accredited Exercise Physiologist!

Location: Indooroopilly, QLD
Hours: 2 days per week (approx 15hrs per week)
Qualifications: ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiologist
Remuneration: Based on experience and qualifications

Healthy Lifestyles Australia (HLA) is seeking a motivated and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our supportive multidisciplinary team on a casual basis.

About the Role

• Conduct 1-hour consultations with patients, providing high quality-evidence based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients with a range of conditions.
• Work within a thriving medical centre with gym facilities and other health professionals
• Enjoy support from the onsite reception team for bookings and billing, allowing you to focus on patient care.
• This role is ideal for a practitioner who values autonomy with strong professional support, enjoys variety in their day-to-day work, and wants to make a meaningful impact across a wide patient demographic.
• Provide holiday cover during December and January, with potential outreach to Ipswich, Lowood and Fernvale for the right applicant. Please note this cover work will be a mix of consultations, hydrotherapy, and group exercise classes.

Please note: HLA closes over the Christmas period from 23 December to 4 January.

About You

• Hold a recognised Exercise Physiology qualification and ESSA accreditation.
• Have strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centred care.
• Be confident delivering evidence-based exercise interventions to a diverse range of patients.
