Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our team. This is a dynamic, varied role—not a checking-only position. Alongside final accuracy checks on weekly blister packs and selected prescriptions, you will work collaboratively across all core dispensary operations, from dispensing to patient support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform final accuracy checks on weekly blister packs/MDS and eligible prescriptions within your ACT scope.
• Dispense NHS and private prescriptions in line with GPhC standards and pharmacy SOPs.
• Manage online prescription workflows and operate Titan PMR software.
• Handle patient phone inquiries and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory management, stock checks, ordering, and pharmacy audits.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve dispensing queries and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.

Requirements
Essential:

• GPhC-registered Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy SOPs, safety protocols, and dispensing standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Pay: £30,000.00-£37,078.20 per year
